The Wood Tryptichon Part II

Like he’s done so much recently, Simon NH‘s The Wood Tryptichon Part II is just astounding. While the photo itself cannot be overlooked as a work of art (the framing, angle, and lighting in addition to the subject itself), the structure that serves as it’s setting is also a beautiful piece LEGO architecture. The wooden slats of a barn might be typically be boring in real life, but the way the rustic look has been recreated here is masterful. The details of the normally bland interior have been recreated in a way that is wholly breathtaking –  the siding, the beams, the trestles, the board cut off to make the window, right down underused back sides of masonry bricks used as flooring – all of it absolutely magnificent.
