The Tennessee Valley LEGO Club built an incredible 20 ft long model of the Henley Street Bridge in Knoxville! The model took more than two years to design and build and is made of more than 73,000 pieces. The project was a tremendous group effort as TNVLC member Peter Campbell points out.
Sketches like these are always a delight to examine! They provide an invaluable glimpse into the creative process behind these incredible MOCs.
The model was recently displayed publicly at BrickUniverse in Knoxville, where I had the chance to see it up close in person. The attention to detail, including the striped traffic patterns, brought viewers closer in; proving this model impresses at all scales!
