London Skyscrapers

For a Mikropolis project Milan Vančura built two London skyscrapers. The first build, 20 Fenchurch Street, is best known for its odd walkie-talkie design. The building is often criticized as one of the most unsightly buildings in London (which I agree), but the LEGO version does a pretty good job of capturing the curves of the skycraper. Second is the 30 St Mary Axe (often called the Gherkin). While I think the LEGO version is proportionately a bit stumpy, I appreciate the complexity of design. Overall, both models do a great job in utilizing flex tubes to build skycrapers often too difficult to construct in microscale.
